Act 1, Scene 11: 'It Takes Two' - Into the Woods

Meet our utterly wonderful lead singers and comperes for ‘[title of songs’ - Seun and Elle!

You can see them from 3rd - 15th, 17th- 29th August at CVenues C soco at Ibis OR, if you cannot wait (and rightly so), on the 27th July at Rainbow Cafe and Bar in Clifton, Bristol!

Seun is our lead male singer and compere for ‘[title of songs]’.

Seun began his musical theatre training at the age of 10 regularly attending Sylvia Young’s theatre school and has been singing pretty much since birth. Seun has had a wide range of singing experiences from being head of Charterhouse Chapel Choir, singing the ‘Collegium Regale’ solo live on BBC Radio 3 to more jazz-based, improvisational singing such as performing in Bristol University’s charity fashion show FUZE, which he will be musically directing next year. Seun has also performed extensively with Music Theatre Bristol, for example in Pasek and Paul’s ‘Edges’ and their Heroes and Villians Cabaret.

Eleanor our lead female singer and compere for title of songs

Eleanor has just finished her first year studying Music at the University of Bristol. Like Harvey, Eleanor first tread the boards in The Wizard of Oz’s munchkinland at the age of 7 and she hasn’t stopped performing since. After all, having two younger singing sisters meant that life in the Leaper household was never a quiet one. The Leaper sisters performances of ‘Skid Row’ and ‘It’s a Hard Knock Life’ was all the professional training she needed to become a munchkin. Moving beyond the living-room, her favourite previous roles include Anne in ‘A Little Night Music’, Jane in ‘Witches of Eastwick', Jenny in ‘Aspects of Love’ and Mabel in ‘Fame’. In the past years, Eleanor has perfected the art of dying: having had to die in 6 different shows (and counting) in roles such as Nancy in ‘Oliver!’ and Fantine in ‘Les Miserables’ (#spoileralert). Eleanor’s top three backstage disasters include fracturing her wrist while rehearsing for the role of Young Cosette in ‘Les Mis’, dislocating her knee while rehearsing for a ‘Rock of Ages’ medley, and breaking not one but BOTH her arms simultaneously by falling UPstairs on her way to the dressing room during panto season. With a track record of stage-related injuries like this, her dreams of flying in a glass bubble as ‘Glinda’ are somewhat worrying. With this in mind, we are severely limiting the amount of props in ‘[title of songs]’ to ensure Eleanor’s safety.
